From 2002 through 2009, Justin’s production studio, Globeville Studios, had the honor of hosting a monthly series of films presented by cinephile extraordinaire, film historian, and all around brilliant film buff, Michael Savage. We are beyond excited to resume connecting other lovers of cinema with the insights and information offered by Michael’s remarkable presentations and discussions.
Please arrive at 6:00. While we enjoy the potluck, at 6:30, Michael will present an introduction to the film.
Of course you can head on home after the film though you’re invited and encouraged to stick around afterwards to participate in discussion.

Brazil is a darkly comic dystopian film set in a bureaucratic society where paperwork and technology are strangling humanity. Blending satire, surreal imagery, and political commentary, Brazil critiques blind obedience, dehumanization, and the illusion of freedom in modern systems. Although, 40 years old, this film can be watched today and still sting and haunt with our current society and government. This film will spark amazing conversations after our viewing.
